How does the night get so damn lonely? In those still hours, years ago, I wrote Why Would I Leave. I remember feeling so hopeless and just so damn alone. I started imagining the kind of love I wanted in my life and tried my best to believe that one day I could find it.

When I wrote this, it wasn’t reality, it was a song of hope. Hope that I could love and be loved with a passion and intensity I couldn’t quite explain. Hope that I’d experience the kind of love you just get completely lost in. Hope that one day I could find someone that could calm my restless ways.

Somehow, I found all that and more when I met Jessy Easton, a talented writer who challenges and inspires me every single day.
