Life gets so damn hard. Each day, a new scar, carving a path of our existence into the wake of dust. With fingertips, we trace the lines until the point where ours intersect.

Somehow we barely survived being young. All our wayward steps, all the moments we can never have back and the things we can never change. They define us. They were somehow woven into the gravity that brought us together.

Here in the darkness I stand, looking for threads of light. As I stare out into the void, it’s you I long to see, it’s you I want to hear. Sing softly, slowly to me.
